The beloved, Los Angeles-based restaurant, Trois Mec, created this scent with RUKSKE to burn in their powder rooms, where it wafted through the restaurant's dimly-lit marble hallway and dining room every time the door opened. It was commissioned after the Michelin-starred, French eatery's guests were so smitten with our candle, Hiroko, that Chef Ludo Lefebvre reached out to us to create two custom scents. Now closed, the dining legacy of the fine dining establishment lives on in the form of our olfactory collaboration.
The first of them is TROIS No. 1, which uses gourmand components blended with santal to refresh the sensory palette and provide ambiance for guests and staff. Top notes of amber crystal and cardamom come through with a crisp freshness that complements middle notes of white cedar, sage, sea salt, and violet leaf. Santal, oud, and cedar wood make up the base.
TROIS No. 1 sets the mood with a clean and sophisticated sweetness that quenches the senses and feels uplifting. It can just as easily accompany outdoor moments in a garden, with an afterthought of floral blooms, as it can call-to-mind the rejuvenating effects of a world-class spa. TROIS No. 1 will forever remind us of rejuvenation, nourishment, and the creative's capacity for rebirth.
